Whew! Just when I think things are going to let up for a moment and allow me to catch a breath, I find myself in a week-long state of frenziness. It's the last week of school and my graduating kindergartner is working on all 6 cylinders, the newsletter is due, one of the cars makes it way to the shop (again! and leaving me without wheels), we have swim team practice everyday...not to mention there's dinner to get on the table, a youngster to put to bed, a birthday party to plan...

School gets out for summer break in a mere 4 weeks and parents, like me, are trying to figure out what to do with all this forthcoming togetherness. Scrambling around trying to fill their tots' days with meaningful fun, they have to look no further than Embry Hills UMC to learn about all the wonderful opportunities they...and their children...can have during the summer via EHUMC.

Right now, I'm stocking up on some good books and lots of sunscreen. Because when we're not engaged with something fun at church, you'll find our family happily splashing around the neighborhood pool.

Spring seems to have finally sprung. Or at least I have my fingers crossed that it has.
