Children at EHUMC

Sign up to decorate a trunk, donate baked goods, or volunteer the day of the
event to set up, break down, or help with an activity during the event!

The Children’s Ministry at EHUMC is excited to welcome you and your children! I work alongside a wonderful team of volunteers who make it possible to offer nursery care, Sunday School classes, and special events for children throughout the year. If you’d like to know more about what Embry Hills has to offer you and your children, I’d love to talk with you.  Please reach out to me at children@embryhillsumc.org or 678-499-8570.

Sunday School for every age!

9:45am - 10:45am

Pre-K thru 2nd Grade

Room 207

Our Pre-K through 2nd graders will learn meaning through story, wonder, and play using Godly Play stories. This program uses an imaginative approach that supports, challenges, nourishes, and guides their spiritual quest. It is a tactile way of engaging with scripture that allows kids to ask questions about God while meeting important characters of faith.

Club 345

Room 217

3rd, 4th, & 5th graders  have the opportunity to learn from the Deep Blue Curriculum. Deep Blue is a program for “tweens” designed to help bridge the gap between children’s and youth ministry, allowing them to work with adults in shaping their own faith formation. This program uses games and discussion to bring the stories of faith alive!

Newborn to 3 Years

Room 100

Childcare for kids five years and younger is available throughout
Sunday mornings in room 100 from 10:50 am - 12:15 pm.

*Space is limited to ensure a clean and safe environment for our children.
Please email us with any questions.

11:00 am Worship

Children are wanted and welcomed in service at Embry Hills. All children are
invited to stop by the kids’ corner, located
in the Narthex, to grab entertaining
activities to engage in the worship
service. Choose from prayers, books,
string activities, and coloring sheets.

Time on the Steps

Children are invited to join in a quick conversation about the scripture and
theme of the day - you can come down
front or stay in your seat and join in that way.
